Ferretti 720 New Generation

The first new Ferretti Yachts 720 unit gently kissed the water at the Ferretti Group shipyard in Ravenna in 2025, marking a new production milestone. Ferretti’s new styling treatment is far more than good looks, it has been evolved around some ingenious practical innovations to enhance important features such as the amazing views from inside on both decks, and the superb use of space both inside and out. Ferretti Yachts 720 makes her debut in a completely redesigned version. The model retains the distinctive features of the previous generation, introducing aesthetic enhancements and new technical features that confirm the brand’s evolutionary journey.

EXTERIOR

Ferretti has really pulled out the stops on the outside space aboard the 720. A wonderful foredeck area features seats that convert to loungers, and there's even a fold-down lounger built into the transom. The rear of the flybridge has a lovely open deck area for free-standing loungers, plus a fixed seating/dining area and another huge lounger ahead of the flybridge helm. Continuing along the main deck, the most important new feature is clear separation by a sliding glass door between the dining/living area and the galley/wheelhouse.

The result is a semi-enclosed setting that guarantees greater privacy and improves the overall quality of the on-board experience. Other new features in the wheelhouse area include the windscreen with no central pillar, now one of the model's distinctive features, and the new armchairs designed by Frau. On this first unit, the flooring on the main deck and stairs is finished in fashionable parquet.

INTERIOR

The interior spaces for this substantial upgrade has been created with a radical restyling. The large, elegant main salon, which covers over 50m² and has high ceilings, more than 2 metres throughout and over 2.25m at the highest point. High gloss rosewood is the featured wood, paired with black hammered leather elements and lacquered surfaces that reflect the light flooding in through the large side windows

The master suite has been re-designed to include a new wardrobe in the entrance area and larger windows that let in natural light and add more to the panoramic view. Accommodation comprises a sumptuous five double cabin layout for ten plus three crew cabins for five crew. The lower deck is devoted entirely to guests and crew. The guest area has four cabins consisting of two mirror-image VIP cabins aft and two guest cabins forward, one of which fitted with separable and pullman beds. All the suites on the lower deck have an en-suite bathroom.

Performance

Smooth, quiet and simply effortless, the 720 cruises just the way a Ferretti should. Even travelling at 30-knots, which is well within her capability with the larger engine option, you can chat in the saloon without raising your voice. A very classy performer.

This first model, is fitted with a pair of 1400hp MAN V12 engines (max. speed 32-knots and cruising speed 28-knots). The optional 2x1200hp engines delivers a top speed of a very acceptable 28-knots.
