EXTERIOR

The 8x is the first motor yacht of its kind to have an entirely carbon fibre superstructure, giving significantly greater strength and rigidity as well as less weight. The sweeping 'wings' that elegantly link the superstructure to the aft cockpit were originally designed to channel airflow and spray away from the cockpit.
But on the 8x they also conceal a graceful, curved stairway from cockpit to flybridge. On the foredeck, special jetski lockers beside the seating area are a clever touch, and there's space in the stern garage for a PWC as well as a 3.45m RIB tender.

INTERIOR

The interior spaces for this substantial upgrade has been created with a radical restyling. The main deck lounge can be configured with two different layouts: one has the dining area aft and the lounge midships, while the alternative layout is more traditional, with the lounge area and generous sofas in the entry area and the dining area in the centre. The large, elegant main salon, which covers over 50m² and has high ceilings, more than 2 metres throughout and over 2.25m at the highest point. High gloss rosewood is the featured wood, paired with black hammered leather elements and lacquered surfaces that reflect the light flooding in through the large side windows
The master suite has been re-designed to include a new wardrobe in the entrance area and larger windows that let in natural light and add more to the panoramic view. Accommodation comprises a sumptuous five double cabin layout for ten plus three crew cabins for five crew. The lower deck is devoted entirely to guests and crew. The guest area has four cabins consisting of two mirror-image VIP cabins aft and two guest cabins forward, one of which fitted with separable and pullman beds. All the suites on the lower deck have an en-suite bathroom.

Performance

With her twin Top System surface drives, and some of the most advanced engineering technology in the marine world, driving the 8x is an absolute joy. The amazing Easy Trim and Joystick control options give the driver the kind of finger-tip precision that is just astonishing for a boat this size.
Top speed is 45 knots with a pair of 2435hp engines, increasing to 48 knots (55mph / 89kph) with twin 2638hp. That translates into a cruising speed of 41 knots, enabling the 8x to cover 300nm in 7 hours on full tanks.
