Riva Aquariva Special

The latest evolution of the iconic Aquariva, blending timeless Riva craftsmanship with subtle modern refinements.
This new Aquariva Special was launched at a glittering World Premier on the 30th June 2025, the venue was the famous Riva Sarnico Shipyard on the shores of Lake Iseo. The Special is the seventh version, and replaces the Super which arrived in 2010, with the first Aquariva being launched in 2000. In the years that followed, there were four other limited editions; the Aquariva Cento arriving in 2006 and marked the one hundred hulls that were produced. Aquariva Gucci and Aquariva by Marc Newson arrived in 2010 celebrating a decade of production, the last of this series, the Anniversario in 2022. Although replacing the Super, this new Aquariva Special will continue with subtle differences and upgrades to its predecessor whilst still keeping the tradition of Riva style, fine leather trimming and gleaming maple inlaid mahogany decks.

EXTERIOR

With its U-shaped seating, the cockpit of the Aquariva Special is a perfect space to spend time with friends and family at rest or under way. The aft area of the boat, with its sunbed over the engines and steps down to the bathing platform, is thoughtfully practical as well as being nostalgically reminiscent of the Aquarama Special, the final version of the most famous of all the classic Rivas.
One of the most important new features is the windscreen, which has been completely redesigned to give the boat’s silhouette a more modern and elegant line. The wider stern swim platform features steps with a new curvature to offer guests even more comfort making it easier to enter and exit the water. The handrail and mooring cleat pay tribute to the previous version, the Aquariva Super, while the mahogany fascia is now fibreglass, finished in the same colour chosen by the owner for the hull and also incorporated in the large sunpad and the air intake grilles. One of the standout features at the bow is a fresh design of the navigation lights and casing.
